mailheader1Free Postcard Art!

Ok, so here’s the deal: This postcard campaign has been the most rewarding promotional stunt I have ever concocted. Each month I am going to give away postcards made from my original art. That’s right, I am going to draw high quality inked doodles on a blank postcards and mail them to you. Why? Because I love my readers, I like drawing, and I also dig seeing my art all over the world.

The thing is is that these postcards aren’t cheap to send, they cost about $1.75 a piece which is cutting in a bit to my promotional budget for the book. The whole point of these is to increase my audience. So, to that end, I have drafted a couple different rules:

Comment on a post! Any post will do, just hop on over to www.hipster-picnic.com and find a post you like, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on “Comment” – show me some love!

Some Notes…

Pay It Forward

If you have already received a card from me, do me a favor, and instead of asking for another – pay it forward by sending me the address of someone you know who would like the comic & some original artwork. To send me their address by emailing me at py@makingcomics.com

I Only Do 10 Per Month (For Now)

Postcards are limited to 10 a month for now. That is all I can afford to send out right now. If you want to send me 2 bucks using the donate button on the homepage – i’ll send you one. (Or if you ask real nice. I am a sucker for sweetness.)

Starts On The 1st

The postcard campaign starts on the 1st of the month. Subscribe to my newsletter or follow me on social media (above) to get starting announcements on the 1st.

In the words of Porky Pig – “That’s all folks!” Thanks so much for your ongoing support!

PS – If the recipient of the postcard is under 18, let me know so I can make sure the art is even more age appropriate than I would normally make it. Thanks!
