“3 Miles To San Diego”
I can feel the sun coming up in the San Diego sky. The room is getting brighter. A bulk of this new work on Hipster Picnic has been created while I was living in England, six-thousand miles away from the city the story is based in. Being back, it is almost like walking into my comic. I am so glad to be here. The bright yellows and reds. The blue sky. The Mexican culture. I missed all of it. I am only here for a week and a half for work, but already I know that this is definitely the correct way to wake up in the morning.
It’s good to be home.
